Judge Aaron Cohn was the longest serving Juvenile Court Judge in American History (46 years 1965-2011) when he retired. Judge Aaron Cohn wanted schools to have a curriculum that could teach children family values.
The Houses of ACMS were created to embodied the values that can be found in the life of Judge Aaron Cohn. Since family was important to Judge Cohn, we decided to create a House for each of the students to belong to during their 3 years at our school.
Each House has 3 Values that the House was built on. The symbols used in the crest of each house were pulled from themes and stories from Aaron Cohn's life.
Since Judge Aaron Cohn was a lawyer, all of the Houses have a Latin or Latin based name. Each name reflects on a theme of the House.
